2018 marks Methanex in Chile’s 4th year sponsoring the chilliest event of the Invernadas (Magallanes regional festival), the Strait of Magellan Chapuzón or ‘Dip’. The Dip has become one of the main attractions of the festival, with over 2500 people dipping into the icy cold waters of the strait, during wind chill temperatures below zero! 50 Methanex volunteers were on hand to deliver towels and 1500 mugs that were handcrafted by local community members with intellectual disabilities.

The beautiful mugs made by local community members with intellectual disabilities were handed out as souvenirs.
